At Islamic Relief Canada, volunteers are the backbone of the work we do. We realize what an endeavor it is to juggle volunteering with academic commitments. To honor the dedication of our volunteers and the hard work they put in, we are proud to introduce the Islamic Relief Canada Student Scholarships.
These scholarships are designed to acknowledge and reward post-secondary students who are dedicated volunteers of IRC and have made exceptional contributions to their institution and/or community, all while maintaining academic excellence.
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a Canadian resident.
- Have volunteered with Islamic Relief Canada for at least 15 hours between September 2023 and May 2024.
- Have been enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in 2023-2024 and plan to continue full-time for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year.
Volunteers can apply for any of the seven scholarships available. Please note that individuals who were granted an IRC 2023 Scholarship are not eligible to reapply for the same scholarship.
