Provide Emergency Aid in Palestine

Since October 2023, our hearts have weighed heavy, and our minds have been consumed by the ongoing catastrophic destruction and humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Our teams on the ground have been working hard to ensure your support for Palestine is reaching those in most need.

Islamic Relief has been on the ground, operating in Palestine since 1997. Working alongside the Ministry of Health, UN humanitarian organizations, and local partners, our staff and volunteers have distributed aid throughout Rafah, Khan Younis, Deir Al Balah, Zawayda, and North Gaza every day since the escalations began.

We are delivering daily ready-to-eat meals in Gaza and have distributed more than 30 million meals so far, as well as other aid such as hygiene kits, clean water, and psychosocial support for children.

How is Islamic Relief delivering aid across Gaza?

Our staff in Gaza use your donations to locally procure food, hygiene supplies, bedding, and any other essential item we can source. They screen and contract local suppliers and partners, who procure locally or through private trading routes.

Islamic Relief has successfully facilitated aid trucks entering Gaza through various border crossings, which has helped to alleviate some of the pressure on the ground.

Working alongside local partners and the World Food Programme, we are presently active in the Middle Area including Deir Al Balah, Zawayda, and Al Nusairat, as well Khan Younis, Rafah, and North Gaza.

From October 7 to August 16, 2024, our team has so far distributed:
