Zakat ul Fitr
Zakat ul Fitr is an obligation that must be paid before the Eid ul Fitr prayer. It should be given by every self-supporting adult Muslim who has food in excess of their needs, on behalf of themselves and their dependants.
As the end of Ramadan approaches, pay your Fitrana or Zakat ul Fitr on behalf of yourself or your family to fulfill your obligation before the Eid prayer. Based on the price of a staple food such as flour or rice, the amount due for each person is $10.
